The Daily Devotional

What arrives in your morning.

For more than twenty years, I have faithfully shared a daily morning devotional. Each one weaves the timeless truth of Scripture together with personal reflection, practical insight, and words of encouragement drawn from everyday life and a deep walk of faith.

What began as a simple commitment to share God's Word with my young, teenaged children became a longstanding ministry that has touched countless lives. Through consistency, authenticity, and a heart for serving others, these daily messages have encouraged readers, strengthened faith, provided comfort in difficult seasons, and inspired many to begin each day with a renewed focus on God.

This record of uninterrupted daily devotionals stands as a testimony to faithfulness, perseverance, and a sincere desire to help others grow spiritually through the power of God's Word.

Our Vision

To inspire hearts daily through the Word of God — revealing His unconditional love, abundant grace, and unwavering faithfulness, and leading others into a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Heart of the Ministry

To seek God faithfully each morning — and share His love with others through His Word.

This ministry exists to remind people that God is present in every season of life — faithful in difficulty, gracious in weakness, and loving beyond measure.

Every devotion is written from a place of personal time with God, with the prayer and believing that each message brings encouragement, healing, hope, and a renewed hunger for His presence.

For more than two decades, this journey has been fueled not by obligation, but by a deep love for God and a desire to help others encounter Him personally through Scripture and daily reflection.

The Story

Over 20 years of seeking Him each morning.

For over 20 years, I have devoted my mornings to seeking God through His Word and sharing personal devotions to encourage, strengthen, and inspire others in their daily walk with Christ.

What began as a personal commitment to spend time with God each morning soon became Mornings with the Father — a ministry rooted in His unconditional love, sustained by His grace, and anchored in His unfailing faithfulness.

Through every season, God has remained constant — teaching, restoring, and revealing His heart through Scripture. My desire is to share those moments of truth and encouragement so others may experience the hope, peace, and transforming power found in His presence.

Psalm 23:3

He Restores My Soul

Life can leave us weary, discouraged, and drained. The pressures of daily living, disappointments, and struggles often weigh heavily on our hearts. Yet Psalm 23 reminds us of a beautiful truth: the Lord is our Shepherd, and He cares for us deeply.

When David declares, “He restores my soul,” he points to God's supernatural ability to renew what is exhausted and heal what is broken. The Lord does not merely give us strength to keep going—He refreshes our inner being with His presence, His peace, and His love.

No matter how tired or burdened you may feel, God invites you to come to Him. He knows your needs intimately and delights in restoring your heart. Trust the Shepherd to lead you beside still waters, to renew your spirit, and to remind you that you are never beyond His care.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my Shepherd. When I am weary, restore my soul and fill me with Your peace. Help me trust Your guidance and rest in Your unfailing love. Amen.

Isaiah 40:31

Soar, Run, and Walk

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” We often long for the strength to soar above our challenges, yet God's promise is not only for the moments when we soar, but also for the seasons when we run and the days when we simply walk.

It is in the quiet, ordinary rhythms of life that God develops our endurance, deepens our faith, and teaches us to depend on Him. While we wait, He is working. While we walk, He is strengthening. Every step taken in trust is sustained by His grace.

When the pace of life feels overwhelming, remember that true peace is not found in how fast you move, but in the One who walks beside you. Your strength comes not from striving harder, but from placing your hope in the Lord.

Prayer

Lord, give me grace to embrace the quiet moments of today. Renew my strength and help me trust You in every season—whether I am called to wait, to run, or simply to walk by faith. Amen.

Words from those who receive them

For over twenty years, these morning messages have met people right where they are.

I seriously cried reading this today. For the last seven years you've been sending me messages, and I can't tell you how often I've gone to them for wisdom. Thank you for never stopping — He's slowly healed my heart through messages like this. I love you, Ms. Dora.
— Alejandra
I thank God for using you to encourage total strangers! He shares them with me most days. There have been tough days when those messages would be just what we needed. God bless you!
— Amber R.
It's absolutely a huge blessing to have God's Word sent to us daily. Thank you for being a good and faithful servant. The Hester home loves you — and I love that my 16-year-old gets your texts too.
— Traci H.
I appreciate your devotions every day so much. I resend them to several friends daily too — can't count how many times they've gotten me through tough times. Thank you, my sweet friend.
— Cindi O.
Thank you for being still in the morning and sharing a word. It's been constant for the last 13–14 years of my life, and often consistency isn't noticed — but there have been times I've had a bad day, gone back through these messages, and had Jesus speak to me. They're not a waste of time; they poured into my life when I didn't know where to look. We ALL need that reminder.
